Menta e Rosmarino festival is back, the Green Asilo Bianco Festival dedicated to art, the garden and the landscape. Two days immersed in the greenery in the wonderful park of Villa Nigra in Miasino, on the hills of Lake Orta. Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 June 2018 it will be possible to walk among exhibitors. botanical gardens and installations. There will be nurserymen, garden experts, artisan and agro-food producers, designers and artists, workshops for adults and children, film screenings dedicated to the rural world, nature walks.
The two days and all events are free admission. Villa Nigra and its garden will be divided into thematic areas: one dedicated to the nurserymen, one to the artisans, designers and creatives, one to the agri-food producers, organic and km 0.
Among other initiatives, it will be possible to visit the Giardino dei Semplici, a botanical garden of herbs and medicinal plants, that is to say plants that have within them active curative principles for people. The Garden (made up of almost 100 plants of different kinds!) Which also includes new illustrative panels, will be open throughout the event and will be open to the public throughout the summer from 17.00 to 19.00. Free entry.
The art section will feature “green” installations and exhibitions. The artist Sara Conti will create a large collage on a forgotten wall of the park, while inside the villa three exhibitions will animate the spaces of the main floor: “Still Life” by photographer Paolo Minioni, “The battle of frogs and mice” ‘illustrator Daniele Catalli – winner of the Prix Albums Jeunesse 2018 in Paris – the cards and ceramics of the artist Antonio De Luca.
